Are you seeking ideas on what to do in your leisure time
with your kids or partner?

The inland that surrounds Rimini and the Adriatic coast is rich in cultural attractions and leisure activities, it is actually the ideal place for those who always look for new tips and ideas to enjoy a family holiday in Rimini or together with your beloved-one where boredom  is never an option!

Theme parks

Rimini’s main theme parks are Fiabilandia and Italia in Miniatura. The former is a fairy-tale realm designed for kids where you’ll find the Merlin’s Castle, Bruco Mela, Aviary and the Gran Canyon, just to mention a few. At Italia in Miniatura, you will instead have a chance to closely admire the best-known Italian and European monuments thanks to over 270 scaled-down reproductions of world’s architectural masterpieces.

The promotion on the Theme Parks Coast goes on in Riccione where you will be able to admire the dolphins of Oltremare and Aquafan’s water games. And on the way to Cattolica, don’t miss a visit to Le Navi Aquarium, populated by sharks, penguins and otters until you get to Mirabilandia, Italy’s largest entertainment park a few minutes’ drive from Lidi Ravennati.

Rimini and its inland

Rimini is ancient town rich in history, able to reunite the past and present at one. You will be admiring Roman and medieval monuments such as Sigismondo Castle, the Tempio Malatestiano (Malatestian Temple), the Arco d’Augusto (Augustus Arch), the Ponte di Tiberio (the Tiberio Bridge) and the archeological site of the surgeon’s Domus.

A tour across the inland’s villages is definitely a must in case you are seeking a fascinating alternative option to the typical days at sea. Among the tiny gems of arts and architecture, we recommend Sant’Arcangelo and its picturesque alleyways, Verucchio and its Rocca, Gradara along the castle which hosted the anguished love between Paolo and Francesca and lastly San Leo, Montefeltro’s historical capital, well-known for the mysterious Cagliostro Count, jailed and deceased in its Fort in late ‘700.

A special mention goes to the stunning Republic of San Marino. The medieval center, rising on the peak of Monte Titano, will amaze you for its beauty and architecture. From here, you will have a chance to admire the three Towers, Piazza della Libertà (Liberty Square), Palazzo Pubblico (the Public Palace), the Cathedral named after the Saint and Cava dei Balestrieri (Balestrieri Cave) within an imagery journey into an ancient past.

Shopping

Along Rimini’s seafront, you’ll spot several tiny shops: they sell items of all kinds for the beach and your leisure time at excellent prices. The historic center is instead hallmarked by boutiques and the most ancient and renowned shops: here is also where the street market is held on Wednesday and Saturday morning. Well-known are also some of the nearby shopping centers such as le Befane and I Malatesta.

Another famed shopping center around Romagna is Iper Romagna Center whereas San Marino is home to the smaller Atlante and Azzurro, just a few kilometers from Rimini. Branded and single-branded shops don’t miss in Riccione and Milano Marittima, homes to high-quality shopping sprees.
